We’re excited to offer summer camps at Burgundy Farm Country Day School in Alexandria again this summer! All experience levels are welcome. ACT camps are perfect for anyone eager to perform, even if it’s their very first time on stage!
ALL camps will include swimming each day!

Middle Division Burgundy Camps
Session 1: 6/15– 6/26
Journey to Hogwarts
$1,089 | No camp Juneteenth (6/19)
Young witches and wizards will be delighted to join us for this enchanting adventure! Camp begins with everyone being sorted into Houses and earning points through magical challenges and kindness. Spellbinding classes include wand-making and potion instruction. Everyone helps paint the background for their wizarding skit on the last day.
Session 2: 6/29 – 7/10
Lights, Camera, Action!

Join professional actress and teacher extraordinaire Debora Crabbe for an adventure in theatre! Campers will enjoy two weeks of theatre and give you a performance like you’ve never seen before! Costumes, props, and music from Broadway classics, Disney originals, and popular hits that will have toes tapping and hands clapping. Young campers will help shape the show together, creating something magical that they’ll remember forever. Come play with us!
Session 3: 7/13 – 7/24
Acting, Singing & Dancing with Ms. Debora

Join professional actress and teacher extraordinaire Debora Crabbe for 2-weeks of theatre fun! This will be a different skit created by campers at the end, so students are invited to come to both sessions if they’d like! There will be costumes, props, and music from Broadway classics, Disney originals, and popular hits that will have toes tapping and hands clapping. Young campers will help shape the show together, creating something magical that they’ll remember forever. Come play with us!
Session 4: 7/27 – 8/7
One Night at the Zoo

Ms. Roberta is back at Burgundy for session 4 of summer camp, taking students on a journey to the Zoo at night! Loosely based on the childhood story Goodnight Gorilla but with songs and dancing, young actors will love adding different animals to this classic book. Theatre games and creative thinking activities, designing a shoe box set, and painting the background for the camp sit all add to the fun!
Upper Division Burgundy Camps
Session 1: 6/15 – 6/26
Journey to Hogwarts!

Hogwarts fans will be so excited to join us in this magical extravaganza! Campers will start by being sorted into houses, then they’ll collect points during magical challenges. They'll love the multiple magic classes teaching spells and potions, and have fun craft projects including wand making and painting a background for the skit. The session will finish with a presentation onstage for families demonstrating the new-found Wizard skills in a special camp skit!

The Magic of Musical Theatre!

Sing, dance, and act this summer with ACT! Instructor Will Anderson arrives from New York City to guide campers through every aspect of theatrical performance. Each camper receives a featured role in a musical skit, a
compilation of beloved musical theater songs woven into an original story created just for this program. Whether campers are seasoned performers or stepping onstage for the first time, they’ll stretch new skills and discover the thrill of storytelling. With live piano accompaniment, each session culminates in a summer show that feels like a burst of Broadway magic.

Be a Pop Star!

Sing, dance, and come to life on stage this summer with ACT! This camp will focus on getting young pop stars ready for the stage, building their singing, acting, and dancing skills! Campers will get to sing and dance to many of their favorite pop songs and have a chance to create their own popstar persona! They’ll make their own microphones and friendship bracelets! The session ends with a presentation onstage for families demonstrating their amazing singing, acting, and dancing skills in a special camp show!
