Take a Class

Fall Classes 2026

September 5th - November  15th, Saturdays, Burgundy Farm Country Day School

ACT classes seamlessly integrate mindfulness and spatial awareness using theatre games and creative movement activities. Learning to collaborate with others, confidently express themselves, and develop an appreciation for the performing arts is all part of the experience. Our goal is to help children develop increased confidence, creativity, and self-expression skills whether onstage or at school. Come Play with Us!

Fairytale Fun

Ages 4 - 5 | Saturdays | 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM

For children who love magical creatures and fairytales, this class will provide an imaginative and exciting experience. Each week students are welcome to wear their favorite fairy-themed clothes (or borrow some of ours) to join in the fun. Special stories, movement activities, a craft, and a song or two fill up our class time. Young actors will be encouraged to express themselves through speaking and moving along with their favorite fairy tales.

Act Out the Story

The first half of the session, young actors will play confidence-building theatre games and boost their self-expression skills using creative movement and vocal activities. They’ll listen to a story each week and bring the characters to life, learning how to collaborate on a project.

In the second half of the session, they’ll begin working on a story to be performed for families at the final class.

Improv for All!

Ages 8 - 14 | Saturdays | 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Students will expand their creativity as they learn to think on the spot and share their ideas in this fun class where there are no wrong answers! Using theatre sports, self-expression and characterization, students will learn how to channel their ideas as creative storytellers and they’ll laugh a lot. Instructor Brandon Johnson knows that collaboration and teamwork skills grow when classmates work together, and those skills extend to school projects and presentations too.
